Philippians 1:9
And this is my prayer: That your love may abound more
and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that you
may be able to discern what is best and pure and
blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit
of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ- to
the glory and praise of God.

Day four: July 16
Traveled to Namwala today! Seven and a half hour bus ride went surprisingly well. I got to know a sweet girl named Megan. She's kind, enthusiastic, and endearing. I love her! Another friend I got to know was Tori. She's quiet but sweet- definitely someone to hang around when the world's driving you mad or you just need someone to listen. I need to pray for our leaders- their stress. Especially in Africa, things don't go as planned. Let all of us rely on God.  -lj

Day five: July 17
I'm sitting here on my comfy bed in Namwala eating Nutella out of the jar with a purple knife. Life is good. Yesterday we arrived here late and our luggage two hours later. We were at "The Corner Lodge." You know, the one not on a corner! We share little chalet's that have air conditioning and heating units and tv's that all don't work! I think they're FANTASTIC! We have comfy beds and sinks in the shower (yes, it's true)!

I am washing clothes in the sink in the shower! Hey, there's no water spilling in the floor! :)

And sometimes, if you're lucky, the shower won't shock you and there's a chance of scalding hot water if you take a bath at noon time! It's a good thing we will never be here at noon again! We can take ice showers in the mornings! Today I got my hair plaited! Thelma is my wonderful friend who braided it and here is it half way done! hehe I look silly :)

And after!! So today we all prepared to go out. All medical peeps worked hard organizing supplies and drugs. All evangelism teams learned their materials and shared their testimonies. Tomorrow will be the first clinic in Bambwe!
