Contemplating life again...

Here I am on a humid Alabama night contemplating life while in my pajamas. Dangerous things to be doing at the beach, so I'm told. I do these dangerous things a lot. 'What should I do with my life?' Not quite the right question... 'What would God have me do with my life?'
Tonight my family went to a local Messianic Jewish temple to hear a great speaker and author Derrick Iaasics preach on the Jewish questions to the Yeshua Messiah (Jaysus, for we Southerners). He wrapped up his fantastic sermon with a great explanation of God's love vs. God's justice that I'd like to share with y'all:
"God is love, God is just. We, who are even born being in a state of sinfulness, cannot hope to deserve that love and therefore we must receive punishment for our sins. When we accept Christ into our lives, his sinlessness is what God will see when we are judged by Him. The reflection of Yeshua will show instead of our dark heart. God can now love us as much as our loving creator always designed to because we can now deserve it, but only through Christ's sacrifice."
The whole service was great and I couldn't write down everything but I did try!
I got a book for my birthday (no way!! Nerd kid got A book for her birthday? I'm kidding- I got multiple)
about Bill Wallace of China. He was a medical missionary there in the '30s. His story is amazing, inspiring, and fascinating. Mum just read it and told me to do so cause she knows that's what I dream of doing one day. I'll tell y'all about it more when I'm not about to fall asleep with the light on.

Praise be to God for loving me and for sacrificing his son for my sake.
