Road trip
Today I visited an art museum in Talladega, renovated from an old public library. I was on a road trip with my Momma, visiting "the 100 Alabamian dishes you must eat before you die" restaurants as well as historic districts and art or history museums. We've done this across the state for years together. Just us time.
The library was so beautiful, the craftsmanship of the building, all the way down to the molding. Old memories were in the wood, looking at us through the dust floating at us through the dusty air. The museum curator told us about the old librarian who used to be stingy on who could and could not check out books. I was intrigued by some of the art pieces on display, so here's a present for you:

Across the street was the Alabama School for the Deaf and Blind, a beautiful group of historic buildings of majestic architecture
